Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

What Experience Do You Have?

Over the past few years our partner Pragmaticum has been at the forefront in advancing claims on behalf of policyholders for Business Interruption losses suffered as a result of Covid-19. Key cases include adjusting for the owners and operators of a number of well-known restaurants and cafés in and around London in the successful case of Corbin & King Limited and others v Axa Insurance UK Plc [2022] EWHC 409.

What Are Your Fees?

broke-it.co.uk charge no fee for validating whether you have a claim. If you do have a claim we will agree a fee to act on your behalf.

My Claim Was Denied By My Insurer

Since COVID test cases have clarified and extended the scope of business interruption cover. This means that businesses previously told they did not have insurance cover may actually have significant payments due under their insurance policies.

What Is The Deadline For Making A Claim?

In England & Wales the deadline for making a claim is March 31st 2026.

What Is The Claim Process?

broke-it.co.uk will validate you have the right clauses in your insurance documents for the relevant time period. We will then introduce you to our loss adjustor partner, Pragmaticum, who as qualified loss adjustors will quantify the potential size of your claim.

Once your claim has been validated and quantified, you can either instruct Pragmaticum to claim your settlement directly from your insurance provider.
